RESTORATION OF A FADED HANDKERCHIEF /

(ENG) This trick may seem difficult but it is quite simple. The magician's assistant must have two handkerchiefs of the same color and quality. He places one on the table to do the trick with and keeps the other in his pocket. This handkerchief is now cut into pieces and placed under a glass on the table. The magician says that he is going to give the handkerchief time to recover, and continues with another trick. Meanwhile the assistant puts his hand in the draw from behind the curtain and removes the torn handkerchief by using a trap door in the middle of the table, and places the whole handkerchief inside. The glass is removed and the handkerchief is whole again (a table like this should be made by the student) It is used in many cases and is very convenient. All it takes is a small square slab to be sawed in the middle of the table, and a piece to fit perfectly in that area, this should be able to be removed and placed back by putting your hand in the draw at the back of the table.

 (AFR)  Hierdie vertooning mag moeilik lyk maar dit is heel eenvoudig.  Die towernaar se assistant moet 2 sakdoeke hê van dieselfde kleur en kwaliteit.  Hy gooi een op die tafel neer om die kuns meet te doen en hou die ander in sy sak.  Hierdie sakdoek word nou aan stukkies geskeur en onder n glas wat op n tafeltjie op die verhoog staan, geplaas.  Die Towenaar sê nou dat hy die sakdoek sal tyd gee om te herstel,en gaan solank aan met n ander vertoning.  Intussen steek die assistant sy hand van agter die gordyn uit in die laai van die tafeltjie en verwyder die geskeurde sakdoek deur behulp van n “Valtrap” in die middle van die tafelblad,en plaas die heel sakdoek daarin..  die glas word verwyder en die sakdoek kom heel daaruit.  So n tafeltjie behoort n student vir hom te maak.  Dit word in baie gevalle gebruik,en is baie handig.  Al wat nodig is,is om n klein vierkant uit die plad te saag,en daar n stukkie daar te sit wat presies pas en verwyder kan word deur die hand by die laai in te steek.

DIE VERDWYNENDE 10c

(AFR)   Neem n klein stukkie  was en druk dit aan u duim vas.  Kry n seuntjie uit die gehoor en sê dat u hom n 10c gaan gee, maar hy sal die 10c nie kan vashou nie.  Want dit sal  verdwyn uit sy hand.  U wys hom die 10c en druk dit styf vas in die middel van sy hand, vir n paar sekondes terwyl u met hom praat en hom in die gesig kyk.  Maak nou sy hand toe en sê vir hom om vas te hou.  Die 10c het natuurlik aan die was bly sit en het saam met u duim uitgekom.  Hy is egter onder die indruk dat die 10c nog daar is,deur die gevoel wat deur die drukking ontstaan.  Laat nou die 10c in iemand se sak val.  Praat n bietjie Towernaartaal met die 10c, laat die seun sy hand oopmaak en dit sal verdwyn.  Sê hom waar hy moet soek en tot sy verbasing vind hy die 10c in iemand anders se sak.

THE MAGICAL EASTERN TOLLE/ DIE BETOWERENDE OOSTERSE TOLLE

(ENG)  You may have seen the old Indian Mage, three reels and a double rope tack. Two men hold everyone to a point, the guy standing on the reels and fly them out without the rope broke. It is very simple. The Wizard knows no devil art. He has no connection to the vent. He just knows the secret. He reels the size of "Billiard Balls", and drill the holes about the size of a pencil  . Get two pieces of "Tape" of the best quality linen, about wide and long. Double end of a "tape" about a string. Insert the folded end of the "tape" through the eye. Put the first rope back into the toll and you will find the link whole is in the toll. Thread the other 2 reels from both sides. Move two outer reels back and forth on the "tape" to show that there is no cheating occurs. Let 2 persons each end of the "tape" keep and late Fall. Take the two ends late Fall, and make a knot on the reels. Let them now ends late Fall and the ends to which you hold the knot. (AFR)  U het seker al die ou Indiese Towenaar gesien,drie tolle en n dubbele tou ryg.  Twee mans hou elkeen aan n punt vas,die ou staan op die tolle en hulle vlieg uit sonder dat die tou gebreek het.  Dit is baie eenvoudig.  Die Towenaar ken geen duiwelskuns nie.  Hy het ook geen verbinding met die vent nie.  Hy ken maar net die geheim.  Hy kry tolle die grootte van “Billiard Balls”, en boor die gate deur omtrent  die grootte van n poltood.  Kry ook twee stukke “Tape”,van die beste kwaliteit linne,omtrent  breed en lank.  Maak hulle dubbel ent van een “tape” omtrent deur een tou.  Steek die gevoude ent van die ander “tape” deur die oog.  Steek die eerste tou terug in die tol en u sal vind dat die verbinding geheel berberg is in die tol.  Ryg nou die ander 2 tolle van weerskante in.  Skuif die twee buitenste tolle heen en weer op die “tape” om te wys wat daar geen kullery ontstaan nie.  Laat 2 persone elkeen n ent van die “tape” hou en laat val.  Neem die twee ente wat hulle laat val het, en maak n knoop oor die tolle.  Laat hulle nou die ander ente laat val en die ente waarmee u die knoop gemaak het vashou.  Hulle trek effenstjies styf, u praat towertaal en slaan met die stok op die tolle.  Hulle vlieg uit en elke person staan nog met n “tape” in sy hand.  Probeer dit en u sal dit beter verstaan.  Volg net hierdie instruksies.
